Irish folklore speaks of Fairy Forts and Hawthorn trees,miths around them survive today. They can be seen scattered around the country. People do not dare to move them or cut down the trees for fear of th ewrought of the Faries.. But cattle or sheep can graze near them.
This A3 soft pastel piece is inspired by that folklore. It is peaceful to look at the Irish landscape.
