Perched on a hilltop in County Cavan, this old outbuilding has stood through generations — its ancient stonework still catching the sunlight, still glinting with quiet dignity despite the years of neglect. The red roof has begun to surrender, its bones laid bare against the sky, a raw and honest portrait of a structure nearing its end.
The outbuilding, part of a derelict farmstead, is due for demolition — and with it, another piece of Ireland's rural heritage will be lost. Painted to preserve what time and progress cannot, this work carries the weight of that loss and the beauty that remains.
Hang it in your home and keep a piece of the Irish countryside alive — a conversation piece rooted in place, memory, and craft.
